Next, you’ll meet your registered dental hygienist who will discuss your concerns and take digital x-rays. These radiographs provide a baseline that we will be able to reference in the future. Your hygienist will develop a periodontal probing chart to ensure the surrounding structures of your teeth are sound before investing in restorative work. The final step is to clean your teeth thoroughly.
When it’s time for your dental exam, Dr. Thomas or Dr. Peters chart your teeth to note existing dental work and conditions that require your attention.
