Full & Partial Dentures in Hermitage, PA

Full Dentures | Hermitage, PA | Thomas Family DentistryAdult tooth loss is an oral health problem that can have life-altering effects.

Missing teeth change the structure of your mouth and make you look older, which undermines your self-confidence. They also interfere with your ability to eat and chew with ease.

Dentures offer improved function and esthetics by replacing teeth that have been lost or damaged beyond repair. Updated dentures placed at Thomas Family Dentistry address the signs of aging and return your smile to its former strength and beauty.

Custom Dentures That Look Great

Until recently, there wasn’t a lot of creativity or originality involved in making dentures; they were pretty much "one size fits all." But today, we work with the top dental labs in the area to create dentures that allow you to eat and speak comfortably. Best of all they help you look great while doing it!

With skill and attention to detail, our doctors carefully customize your new dentures to enhance the shape of your face, your skin tone, and even the color of your eyes. We encourage you to be part of the process because it helps us learn what’s important to you. Our job isn’t finished until we know you’re completely satisfied with the results.

Dentures – Treatment Options

Partial Dentures: We are pleased to offer our patients traditional as well as implant-supported dentures. A consultation, followed by an examination with Dr. Thomas or Dr. Peters, allows us to work together to decide which of these treatment options is most appropriate in your case.

Partial Dentures | Hermitage, PA | Thomas Family DentistryRemovable Full or Partial Dentures: Traditional full or partial dentures are artificial teeth worn over your gums to replace lost teeth. Dentures placed at Thomas Family Dentistry are fabricated to the exact measurements of your mouth so that they form a comfortable, secure seal with the gums. Even though traditional dentures are removable, we do everything possible to make sure they won’t shift or come loose while eating, speaking, or laughing.

Implant-Supported Dentures: An implant-supported denture is secured in your mouth using as few as four implants. Dental implants are surgically placed in the jaw and allowed to fuse with surrounding bone and tissue. The dentures are attached to abutments that extend from the implants. This system offers the most comfortable and secure fit possible with dentures.

Using our exact specifications, skilled lab technicians carefully place the artificial teeth one by one in an acrylic base. You may be surprised to see just how comfortable dentures can be when they’re made to your exact specifications!
